Extra Fees

·         Trailering, boarders are welcome to travel with the farm to any event. Costs may range from $20-50. Horses should load and travel well. Training is available if they do not.

·         Training, boarders are welcome to use Emily Sumner or Karen Contryman, to train with. Boarders are welcome to use an outside trainer at no additional cost. Arena availability should be confirmed before scheduling an outside trainer. 

·         Farrier, the farm uses Donna Watson to shoe all farm horses. Boarders may use the farm’s farrier or use their own

·         Veterinarian, the farm uses Maureen Sullivan for all farm calls. Boarders may use the farm’s vet or use their own


Trucking in for Schooling
Contry Hill is open for schooling by appointment 7 days a week


Those who ship in are welcome to use our Indoor Arena, Jumping Arena, Dressage Arena, Trails, or Cross Country fences.

§         Horses should be up to date on all vaccines and have a current negative Coggins

§        A release form should be completed upon arrival Click here for Release Form

§         You must have a grounds person for all schooling jump sessions

§         ASTM/SEI approved helmets should be worn at all times while mounted

§         Protective Safety Vests should be worn for all cross country jumping

§         $20 per horse/rider for schooling

Those interested in trucking in should contact the farm, a minimum of ONE day in advance to ensure ring availability, by email or by phone.

Contry Hill Farm also offers clinicians or instructors, the opportunity to rent the indoor or outdoor riding arena for personal lessons or events at $40 per hourly use.
